Friends of Chamber Music is an outreach organization of volunteers in the community that brings musicians, chamber music, and other outreach music events to the community.
Concerts that include ensembles and musicians of exceptional renown are featured through the yearly season of Community Chamber Concerts.
Other outreach music events, which accompany the concerts, are held in the local schools and other venues and include music presentations, workshops, demonstrations, and master classes.

The mission of the Friends of Chamber Music is to make freely available concerts and other music events of traditional and contemporary chamber music of enduring quality.
Because the main objective is to increase the communication, understanding, and participation of the broad community in music and the arts, all events are open to everyone, free of charge, and aim to inspire, inform, and entertain.
